Maybe this is what Rick Springfield should wear at future concerts:

Because this:

And this was about two weeks before, pre-surgery- in front of about 21,000 people on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, with his cracked rib, torn tendon and twisted ankle.

 

I think his wife deserves some kind of award – his fans get the rock star on the road, with the thrill of seeing him perform and (sometimes) meeting him and then he goes home so often ill or injured. Hopefully he’s a good patient.
