Late, Late at Night (The Rick Springfield Story)

I just finished watching “Late, Late at Night (The Rick Springfield Story),” and wanted to jump on here and say that if you have the opportunity to watch it while it’s available during the next couple of days, you should. The musical, based on the best-selling autobiography of Rick Springfield, was written by Kieran Carroll and performed by Jackson Carroll was so well done. It was streamed from a performance in Australia, where it’s been touring for the past year.

Jackson Carroll gave an incredible performance – and sometimes from the side he looked so much like a young RS, it was uncanny.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to view the chat portion as I had some mom driving dutites when it premiered earlier tonight, but supposedly RS was on the chat watching along during that time.

The show is available for 72 hours (beginning 8 p.m. Eastern on May 18) so unless you’re able to get to Australia to see it live, you may want to check the Pay Per View page of the RS merch site here.

Thank you to Kieran Carroll for making it available to U.S. RS fans and to Jackson Carroll for a great performance!

One more thing…

Remember that film called “Traces” that was supposed to be released back in 2016? Someone pointed out there’s a trailer now available for it now, with a note that it’s now available on UK digital platforms. Not sure when it will be available in the U.S. but it looks like UK fans will now be able to check it out!
